Mexico Street Cemetery, Camden, Oneida County, New York, USA

Notes: This cemetery is located on Mexico Street in the village of Camden. Many of the early settlers of Camden are buried here. Bartholomew Pond donated 3-3/4 acres of land for this cemetery. When he died in 1810 he was the first burial here. The cemetery was in use for several years but was gradually discontinued after Forest Park was purchased in 1840. Several graves from here were re-interred in Forest Park.

The cemetery is well maintained however many of the stones are badly worn, some to the point of being totally illegible. In addition to the 20 stones that were completely illegible there were approximately 20 field stones with no inscriptions.
