Rands, John

1st wife: Ellen Eva McCourtie, Married 23 March, 1863. Ellen died while giving birth to their first child, Charles who died shortly thereafter. Mother Ellen and baby Charles are buried in the same gravesite at Round Hill Cemetery.

2nd wife: Amelia Elizabeth Place, married 17 Sep, 1865, Frankfort Twp, Pepin County, WI. They were blessed with ten children and the 1910 census showed Elizabeth as having 9 children with 7 living at the time.
